Seth McKeever is fascinated by the creatures he discovered when he was a child. His work is laboriously crafted, experimental animation with an introspective, narrative bent. He received a BFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University, as well as a CARAS Grant for a documentary project in Cameroon. He currently lives in Philadelphia where he teaches animation at Temple University, Moore College of Art, and Fleisher Art Memorial.

"The animation I create is intricately assembled using a variety of techniques, both archaic and modern, using processes wholly my own. My narratives are somber, dealing with themes of childhood, the fantastical, and dreams. I am constantly in awe of something, little more than roughly sketched lines, being brought to life by my hand."
